While we are recognised internationally for our original restored telephones, we introduced a range of highly-successful quality replica candlestick telephones, making this very early style of telephone widely available to customers who were looking for a high-quality candlestick telephone at a more affordable price (original restored candlesticks are quite rare and this is reflected in the price - see our original candlestick telephones). Our replica candlestick telephones have become very popular, since they have all the characteristics of their originals - high build quality, solid metal construction, working rotary dial, and are fitted with a real mechanical bell. Then, one day, we thought we would have some samples produced in other colours, and when we first saw these, we were not quite sure what to think - yes they were striking, but authentic they were definitely not. If we had made these phones using plastic, and push-button keypads, the result would have been horrendous. However, the more people to whom we showed these luxury versions, the more we realised we had created something that is not only widely admired, but is also unique - a combination of quality and kitsch, a retro feel, but in a moden style. We have therefore called this our retro-modern candlestick range, and recommend these to anyone who is looking for something just a little bit different. If the delivery address you specify in your order is outside the UK, we will fit your telephone with the correct telephone plug before sending it to you.
